Patricia's academic background is predominantly in performance art (music), having studied Jazz performance at the Adelaide Conservatorium but her organisational interests eventually lead her into administration and to the School of Safety Science in May 2006. Patricia brings with her several years of event management experience and 4 years UNSW administration and finance experience. Patricia has also helped administratively coordinate a number of research projects for the NSW Injury Risk Management Research Centre, UNSW (one of our key research collaborators) and has helped collect data for their Water Safety, Snow Safety and Road Safety projects across NSW. In 2005 Patricia completed a Post Graduate MBT course in Project Management and is presently furthering her studies in management and organisations.

The Admin Officer role has changed significantly since Patricia came on board and it will continue to change as the role moves away from student administration and takes on more Research and Head of School administrative duties in 2008.
