Fin is a Ph.D. candidate carrying his research in the Chemical Safety and Applied Toxicology (CSAT) Laboratories, School of Safety Science, The University of New South Wales.
He received a B.Sc. degree in Biotechnology from Chulalongkorn University and an M.Sc.Tech. degree in Environmental Sciences from UNSW. His previous project in CSAT Laboratories was cytotoxicity testing on environmental samples in 2000. Prior to re-joining CSAT Laboratories, in 2002 he became lecturer in the field of environmental toxicology, from 2003-2006 he was appointed assistant dean for student affairs at faculty of science, Chulalongkorn University.
He also has experience working as an environmental consultant for Thai government and private industry. He worked as freelance interpreter for IDP education Australia, (Bangkok) and patent translator for Tilleke & Gibbins Law firm (Thailand).
His current research focuses on in vitro cytotoxicity assessment of selected nanoparticles using human cell lines.
Fin’s project will address on the use of in vitro methods to investigate the potential toxicity of selected nanoparticles using innovative in vitro test systems developed in CSAT Laboratories.
