How do I appy to enrol in a program in the School of Safety Science?

Applications may be submitted online at https://apply.unsw.edu.au/ and may be submitted by 31 October for Semester 1 entry or 31 May for Semester 2 entry.

How can I check the status of my application?

Once an online application has been submitted, you may track your application at https://apply.unsw.edu.au/ .

How do I accept my offer?

If you are accepted into the program for which you have applied, you will receive an offer letter (either via e-mail or post) which can be accepted online at https://apply.unsw.edu.au/ . providing you have adhered to the applicable deadlines.

How do I accept my offer if I have missed the online acceptance?

If you have a hard copy of your offer letter, you must sign all the necessary sections of the acceptance, and fax it back to Direct Admissions at 02 9662 1049.

I am an international student. How do I accept my offer if I have missed the online acceptance?

Ensure you have a hard copy of your offer letter. Sign all the necessary acceptances - especially the fees section. Check the deposit amount required to be paid at the time of the acceptance and quote your payment details on the acceptance. Return the acceptance to Direct Admissions in person (if possible) or via fax to + 61-2-9662-1049.

FAQ for Current Students

How do I apply for program leave?

Applications for program leave should be directed to your program authority, via e-mail, stating the time you wish to be on leave for and a brief explanation as to why you require program leave. If leave is approved, your program authority will forward the approval to Student Admin and Records (STAR) and you will receive confirmation of your application.

How do I upgrade to the next program in the series of articulated programs in which I'm currently enrolled?

Applications to upgrade should be directed to your program authority, via e-mail. Students wishing to upgrade must hold a Credit grade average to be considered for an upgrade, and must have been enrolled for more than one session prior to being considered for upgrade.
